Change or die

Abstract

Change or Die is a feminist's perspective on women's rights and abortion rights. Drawing from my own lived experiences and inspirations from other female figures in my life, I created this series of oil paintings to confront the audience with motifs regarding female genitalia and references to past political movements. Creating abstractions and ambiguity within symbols of fertility and natural elements to cultivate her message. A woman's control over her body is essential to her fundamental rights and freedoms.
