Integrated theme unit : pioneers : an honors thesis (HONRS 499)

Abstract

My project is an integrated unit based on a social studies theme. The theme of the unit is pioneers and it was developed for use at the third grade level. Academic standards are addressed in the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. The project is divided into the three following sections: integrated unit materials, additionalsupport resources, and academic standards for students and teachers.I am proud of the project I am presenting to you. It represents some of the most important work a teacher can do.
