Vocation as calling : a career discovery program for Christian student groups

Abstract

This project presents a career exploration program for campus Christian organizations to use with students that emphasizes the role of faith and the concept of calling in careers. Though there are many faith based career programs available, often they are costly and are written for high school students or adults considering mid-life career changes. University programs are rarely able to incorporate attitudes of faith in the discussions of career decision-making. The significance of this project is that it will provide a practical career exploration resource available to university Christian student organizations using many of the resources already available to university students.
