Abstract

Kristel's project is a resource packet designed to help teachers in grades 3 and 6 teach their students about German-American culture. It can be used to help meet Indiana statewide social studies standards. The packet includes two booklets for graders and a handout for 6th graders. It also includes additional information on Indiana-German heritage, What's Opera Doc and Richard Wagner, words that are similar in German and English, and suggested additional resources.
