Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the suitability of the Diet Quality Screening Tool. We carried out a Suitability Assessment of Materials (SAM) with 30 health care professionals. SAM evaluates materials in six categories: content, literacy demand, graphics, layout and typography, learning stimulation and motivation, and cultural appropriateness. The summative SAM percentage score was 81%, placing the Diet Quality Screening Tool in the suitable index category of superior.
