Her Story: Mapping Women's History 2016 Cornerstone Presentation

Abstract

This presentation includes maps from the GIS Research and Map Collection in Bracken Library. The presentation depicts maps of women's issues around the world and the United States. The last part of the presentation focuses on little-known women in Muncie history, including Norene Hawk. Hawk authored a diary of her life in Muncie in 1898 that is available via the Library's Digital Media Repository.
