Abstract
Our obligation to remember the events of the Holocaust is too strong to merit a traditional solution of enclosure for static exhibits. Given these premises, the building becomes a functional, urban-scale sculpture, while remaining in sympathy with its context through site development, selection and use of materials and building geometry.
