Abstract

The design of custom features in a new university facility was examined. The client, Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana contracted the Design Collaborative Architectural Firm for this project along with Design Contract Consulting. The concerns of the University Library and Media Center included a main walkway that serves as a pass through for students moving from one side of the campus to the other, a technologically state of the art library facility, the design of custom features melding with the present design proposals of the contracted designer. The Form Z program was used for presentation of the designs. Research and meetings with the client and firm resulting in working drawings of design ideas comprised the creative project.
