Meditation Presentation

Abstract

The graduate assistants worked with professionals from nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the Muncie area to discover what topics elderly residents are interested in learning more about. The graduate assistants then researched and prepared a PowerPoint presentation based on the selected topic. This particular presentation was on meditation and various ways that meditation can be a positive aspect of individual's lives. The presentation also included examples of meditation and instructions on how to meditate. The research that the graduate assistants gathered is presented at various elderly facilities through a program called outreach
